Welcome to the HAL DO-IT-YOURSELF section. This
is where we invite you to share your HAL D-I-Y projects with other
HAL users.
For instance, did you automate your bathroom? Maybe you
swapped out the light switches in the bathroom for X-10 switches,
installed a motion sensor, and configured HAL to turn the lights
and exhaust fan on automatically when you enter the room and shut
them off after you leave. That's a very well-behaved bathroom!
E-mail us any project you have undertaken with HAL. Include
step-by-step instructions. We will review the projects and
then publish them here for the whole HAL community to share. We
may even include some suggestions... that well-behaved bathroom
would be even better if HAL made sure the lights came on to a
dimmed level when someone entered the bathroom between, say, midnight
and six in the morning!
We'll publish new projects as often as they come in... so get
busy and share your solutions. It's always interesting to
see what others are doing - and there's always a project you might
not have imagined yourself - or a better way of executing one
you've already done.
