To download a file, right-click on a link and select "Save File As" (Netscape users) or "Save Target As" (Internet Explorer users).  Save the file to a location on your computer.  After downloading the file, double-click on it.  A screen will appear; click UNZIP to have the file(s) extracted to the default location (you can select a different location by typing its path in the screen).

Why do I need a HAL-compatible modem?

Why do you only list three modems as being HAL-compatible?

I'm having problems with Windows XP and the HAL modem.

 

 

To download a file, right-click on a link and select "Save File As" (Netscape users) or "Save Target As" (Internet Explorer users).  For version 1.3.81 help files and the print manual for version 2.0:  Follow the instructions above to UNZIP the files.  For version 2.0 and 3.5 online help guide:  Copy the .CHM file to the HAL program group (typically C:\Program Files\HAL) and overwrite the existing .CHM file.

The most up-to-date version of the Online Help Guide is installed automatically when HAL is installed, unless the option to do so was disabled during a custom installation.  Updated versions of the Print Manual are available from this page or from update CDs.

Why don't I see anything in the Glossary tab in the new Online Help Guide?
