I changed the location where the cameras save motion captured images and video, and that works fine, except when I go in through the web interface, I don't see any of the files in that directory. It only wants to look at the original directory (c:\\program files\\HAL\\Data\\Images).
Also, anyway to get the PDA html interface to list the videos as well? |

There is no Live Video Streaming on HomeNet so it will only play previously recorded images or videos. They can be 2 seconds old but it can't be live.

I'm not worried about live streaming. I have it setup to record a few seconds of video when the camera detects motion. It saves that video to the directory fine. The problem is, the web interface doesn't see it. It only sees files stored in the original directory, not the directory I've changed Digital Video Center to point to.

I am having this same issue with HAL 2000 rev. 4.0.48 upgraded from 3.7.3. I moved the Image and video captures and they saved where I had asked (C:\Capture\Image), but would not display in HN. I physically copied an image and pasted it to my HAL folder (D:\Program Files\HAL\data\Images\) and it showed up in Home Net. If I try to delete via browser, I get a dead button. My debug gives me this for a Jpeg delete attempt:
Line: 354 Error: 'ButtonPanel' is undefined... Even if I put it all back to defaults, I can see media available, but I cannot get the page to delete images or play the video files. My O.S. is XP SP 3, AMD 2.1Ghz with 1 gig of Ram. I have the latest .net, Java's 5, 6 and the latest 6.XX and Windows media 11. My I.E. is Rev 8 and I am getting the same error in Chrome and I.E. on the local view and two client laptop machines. Here is the section that debug faults at: "Starting line 246" --</tr></td> <tr><td> <IMG ID="lft_VideoImg" onmouseover="SwapImg(lft_VideoImg,'imagesHN/lft_icon_video_over.gif')" onmouseout="SwapImg(lft_VideoImg,'imagesHN/lft_icon_video.gif')" SRC="imagesHN/lft_icon_video.gif" onclick="goVideo()" width="29" height="29"> <IMG SRC="imagesHN/lft_icon_video_over.gif" STYLE="display:none" width="29" height="29"><TD> <span style="font-weight: 400"><a href="javascript:goVideo();"> <font color="#1F59BA" size="2" onmouseover="SwapImg(lft_VideoImg,'imagesHN/lft_icon_video_over.gif')" onmouseout="SwapImg(lft_VideoImg,'imagesHN/lft_icon_video.gif')" > Video Monitoring</font></a></span> </tr></td> |

The media for DVC must stay in the Images folder under HAL. If you are using Internet Explorer 8 you will have a problem... Can you check the About in IE to see?
Thanks, Tim

Hi Tim,
Thank You! It is IE 8. I'll try downgrading. |
