Default Insteon Motion and low bat signal

So I was reading up on my insteon motion detectors. It appears that they send a group 3 on signal when the battery is low. This is really handy but I don't know how to link that to hal. The problem is that when you link the motion it only sends a group 1 link. Is there any way that this can be set up by default when you add the device?

I guess this message is more for the AL development team. Right now I have to use the keypad link device to set this device up. When you guys get around to adding the Insteon motion to the official list of supported devices could you please keep this in mind.

Regards,
CM
