If purchasing HAL for use in another country, we recommend purchasing the HAL product and compatible devices in that country. X-10 modules in Europe, for instance, are designed differently than X-10 modules in the United States because the electrical outlets they plug into are different. For this reason, we recommend purchasing HAL-compatible devices from home automation suppliers in the country where the devices will be used.
